3 booked for abetting builder's suicide

Three persons have been booked for allegedly torturing and abetting a builder's suicide, police said today.
The debt-ridden builder Hemat Goyal, a resident of Sun City locality, took the extreme step on May 25 by consuming poison at his office situated on AB road here, Vijay Nagar police station Inspector Chhatarpal Singh Solanki said.
A suicide note was found in which Goyal had accused three persons of torturing him, he said.
Ashwin Mehta, Sharad Kale and Naval Garg, involved in building construction work and financing business, were yesterday charged under sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and other relevant sections of IPC for torturing and abetting Goyal's suicide, Solanki said.
No arrests have been made in this connections so far, police said, adding, investigations were underway.
