The incident took place yesterday when a Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) team reached to demolish illegal hutments in the area, they said.
Sub-divisional Engineer of the HUDA, Dinesh Kumar said the slum-dwellers started pelting stone on the team when it was removing encroachments.
The policemen and the machine driver were injured in the stone-pelting, police said, adding the protesters set afire an earthmover machine too.
An FIR has been registered against over 100 people, including women, in the matter, SHO of Surajkund police station, Pankaj Singh said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
