3-day holiday for primary schools in Mohali due to severe cold

In the wake of severe cold conditions in the region, the local administration here today declared a three-day holiday for all government and private primary schools from Monday and also ordered change in the timing from January 28.
Holidays have been declared from January 25 to 27 for all government and private primary schools in the district. From January 28 till 31 these schools will start at 9 am, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu said.
"This decision has been taken keeping in view the demand of parents due to cold wave and fog and in the region," he said.
