According to police, four youths passed some lewd remarks on a woman, who had gone to a fair with her husband, following which an altercation broke out between the man and the youths.
Others soon joined in and caught hold of the three accused, while the fourth one managed to escape, and handed them over to police, they said.
A case has been registered and hunt is on for the absconding accused, police said.
In another incident, a college student filed a police complain alleging that a youth had tried to sexually assault her at her college on Saturday.
