The deceased, Abhishek, a class 10 student, went out with his friends around 11 PM last night and did not return home.
His body was found near the bushes along a road in Kanjhawla this morning, following which the police were informed, said a senior police official.
When police questioned Abhishek's friends, it emerged that the four of them had gone to a local eatery for dinner where an argument broke up between Abhishek and the other three, which ensued into a scuffle around midnight, said the official.
By the time, the workers at the eatery and other customers could gather around, the three juveniles fled the scene, said the official.
They were tracked down today, a few hours after Abhishek's body was found, and detained, the official added.
