Social activists Syed Rayees Ahmad, political activist Abdul Raheem Wani and veteran Gujjar leader Eshfaq-u-Rehman Poswal joined the PDP at a function held at the residence of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Welcoming the leaders into the party fold, Sayeed said it was an encouraging trend that people from different walks of life are joining the party in good numbers, a spokesman of the party said.
"This is a clear and loud indication of acceptability of the party's vision," Sayeed said.
