"The victim, identified as Ranjit Jansharan Mangwana, was shot dead by Rohit alias Male Govind Dingam over an old enmity," said Ashok Bhagat, in-charge of Upnagar police station.
The four accused, identified as Rohit, Mayur Bed, Sanjay Bed and Vinod Salve, had last night allegedly visited Mangwana at his residence before carrying on from there to Artillery Road accompanied by him, he said.
There a fight ensued during which Dingam allegedly shot Mangwana dead at about 1 AM, he said, adding that the deceased's wife had filed the police complaint in this matter.
