Chanderhas was rushed to the hospital in serious condition where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
A case has been registered against inmates -- Pradeep, Shahrukh, Pramod and Sukka under various section of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and prisoner act in this connection and an inquiry has been ordered, District Jail DIG V K Shekhar said.
Chanderhas was killed and another injured after being allegedly attacked by other inmates in barrack number 3 in the district jail.
