4 injured in cylinder blast in hotel in Attur

Four persons were seriously injured when two LPG cylinders exploded at a hotel in Attur bus stand, gutting the premises today, police said.
The four injured, employees of the hotel, had been admitted to the government hospital here, Salem Rural Superintendent of Police Subbulakshmi said.
Two of the four cylinders kept in the kitchen of the hotel exploded, triggering a blaze which gutted the hotel.
The front portion of the hotel developed several cracks under the impact of the fire.
Fire and rescue service personnel put off the fire.
