4 killed in China mine accident

Four workers died while nine others were missing in a gas explosion at a coal mine in central China.
The accident occurred last night in a 533-deep tunnel in Ruzhou City located in Henan province, where 250 miners were working underground, Li Yongsheng, assistant chief engineer of China Pingmei Shenma Group, shareholder of the coal mine said.
Rescue operation is going on for the missing ones, state run Xinhua news agency quoted Li as saying.
