46-year old man trampled to death

A 46-year-old man was today found lying dead, trampled by elephant at Oveli near Gudalur, about 70 KM from here, police said.
The body has been identified as that of one Jayashankar. A stray elephant might have attacked and trampled hm to death, while he was returning home late last night, police said.
