Five people were arrested today for allegedly carrying illegal weapons and cartridges in Patan town of Rajasthan's Sikar district, police said.
The seizure was made from a SUV vehicle. Police recovered an illegal 12-bore pistol and 10 cartridges, the police said.
A case was registered against the accused who could not produce documents related to the weapons, SHO Patan Police Station Mahendra Meena said.
He said that the accused hailing from Mahendragarh district of Haryana were arrested.
