5 of family booked for dowry harassment

Five members of a family here have been booked on charges of dowry harassment, police said today.
Pranjali of Asraoli village in her complaint alleged that she was being harassed by her husband Narendra Singh and in-laws over dowry and forced out of the house.
Based on her complaint, an FIR has been registered against Narendra Singh and four other members of his family under Section 498 A of the IPC and relevant sections of Dowry Prohibition Act, Sub-Inspector (Kotwali Dehat) Narayan Dutt Tiwarisaid.
