5 persons held with illegal weapons

Five persons were arrested with illegal arms and live cartridges by a Special Operations Group team in Jhalawar district.
Four pistols, one revolver, one countrymade pistol and 25 live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the five arrested persons, identified as Bajrang Chorasia, Rohit Suman, Omprakash, Satyanarayan and Umashankar, all hailing from Madhya Pradesh.
Acting on a tip-off, the police team last night intercepted the arrested person's vehicle on the Jhalawar-Indore highway while they were coming from Indore, ADG SOG Alok Tripathi said.
