5 women, 3 others die in separate road mishaps in Himachal

Eight persons, including fivewomen, were killed in two separate road accidents in Himachal today, police said.
Sixpersons, including four women, were killed when a car in which they were travelling fell into a deep gorge near Ladbharol in Mandi district, about 210 km from here, police said.
Five persons died on the spot, while another succumbed to his injuries in Baijnath hospital.
The injured were rushed to Hospital at Baijnath and three seriously injured persons were referred to DR RP Medical College, Tanda (Kangra), police said.
The deceased - identified as Achhar Singh, Meera Devi and Parvati Devi, Lovely Devi, Satya Devi and Shyam Lal - were returning after attending a marriage.

In another accident, a couple died when their car rolled into a ditch at Badiara near Rohroo in Shimla district, 110 km from here, SP DW Negi said.
