Police have arrested six suspected robbers when they were allegedly planning to rob an ATM outlet.
The arrested have been identified as Sunny Malik, Lulla, Pawan Singh, Amar Singh, Amit Messy and Gaurav Gupta, all residents of Alwar in Rajasthan, police said today.
"We received a tip-off that the gang members have assembled to loot the ATM outlet near DDA Park at Nihal Vihar yesterday. We sent a police team which caught the criminals," a police officer said.
Police said they had recovered a country-made pistol with a live cartridge and a knife, apart from other tools including a rod, a chisel, screw driver and a hammer from the accused.
