60-year-old man commits suicide in Metro

A 60-year-old man today allegedly committed suicide at Jatin Das Metro Rail station here, affecting services in a section of the network.
"There is a suicide on the upline at the Jatin Das Metro station at around 3.25 PM today. We are yet to identify the person," Kolkata Metro Railway CPRO RN Mahapatra told PTI.
Train services between Maidan to Tollygunge (Mahanayak Uttam Kumar) stations were affected for sometime and the services resumed at 4.10 PM.
"Trains, however, plied normally in the rest of the network," Mahapatra said.
