One Kishan Pandey had a dispute over a piece of land with Hariram Pandey and Saraswati. Both the parties entered into a scuffle last evening, they said.
During the brawl one group opened firing in which eight people were injured.
The injured were rushed to a hospital here. Two of them, whose condition was stated to be serious, were later referred to Lucknow, police said.
An FIR was lodged against 11 persons, of which six have been arrested, they added.
