8-year old boy electrocuted

An eight-year-old boy was electrocuted after he came into contact with a live wire passing through the terrace of his house in Ukkadam near here today.
According to police, the boy Rizwan, a second standard student, had gone to play on the terrace and accidentally touched the wire, going near the parapet wall, police said.
Rizwan died on the spot, they said.
