errant bikers in New Delhi area, police today fined 96 motorcyclists and impounded 20 two-wheelers.
The drive, which was carried out from 11:00 PM yesterday, ended at 5:00 AM in the morning, police said.
A total of 715 vehicles were checked during the drive, which started on Saturday, they said.
Over 40 check points were set up at India Gate, Mandir Marg, Connaught Place and other important junctions in New Delhi.
Yesterday, police had fined 139 bikers, impounded 23 motorcycles and registered cases against three motorcyclists.

"Parents should not give vehicles to under aged, even grown ups should drive their vehicles responsibly," he said.
There have been a number of incidents in the past in and around India Gate where stunt junkies have either lost their lives or injured others.
Even a police constable was seriously injured in such an incident recently.
