Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and LIP members met Kapurthala SSP Sandeep Kumar Sharma and alleged that the local Congress leaders were pressurising the police to incriminate the opposition workers in false cases.
Like the previous SAD-BJP government, the present Congress dispensation was also settling scores with its opponents, he alleged.
Submitting a deputation to the SSP, Nangal warned that they will launch struggle after 10 days if justice was not done by then.
The SSP assured them that proper steps would be taken will be done and instructed officials concerned to look into the matter.
