The 'Nayay' (justice) march started from the office of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee and ended at the district headquarter.
A delegation of AAP met East Singhbhum district Deputy Commissioner, Dr Amitabh Kaushal and handed him over a memorandum demanding immediate arrest of Mahato and his supporters.
Mahato and his supporters had allegedly beaten up AAP activists when they went to gherao his residence in South Park area as part of their agitation demanding that BJP central leadership sack of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in the Lalit Modi issue.
AAP had lodged an FIR against Mahato and others in this connection while Mahato's supporter Ratan Mahato registered a counter FIR against AAP activists accusing them assaulting BJP workers.
