Sources said, the party will discuss strategies for different states ahead of the polls and will also analyse its popularity in different constituencies across the country before fielding candidates.
The NEC meeting, second in a month, holds significance as the party is likely to announce the first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls anytime now.
The Jan Lokpal bill, the party's pet project which is likely to be passed by early next month, will also be discussed in the meeting.
Expulsion of Laxmi Nagar MLA Vinod Kumar Binny will also be taken up in the NEC meeting, the sources said.
The party will also take up the issue of recent face-off between Delhi Police and the state government, they said.
The NEC comprises members of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC), senior party leaders and state convenors.
