In a filing to the BSE, Aban Offshore Ltd said Deep Drilling 7 Pte Ltd and Deep Drilling 8 Pte Ltd, its wholly owned step-down subsidiaries, have redeemed "the outstanding bonds issued by them having an aggregate principal amount of USD 216 million [equivalent to Rs 1,335 crore] along with accrued interest on the due date of March 5, 2015."
The company had posted a standalone net profit of Rs 56.71 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 whereas its total income stood at Rs 184.05 crore.
