About 500 persons detained in storming operations

: A total of 528 persons have been detained under various charges during a 'storming' operation conducted in the city, police said today.
The charges include drunken driving and those who were issued non-bailable warrants, a police press release said.
The operation was conducted late last night by special police in various areas, including hotels and mansions, it said.
