convicted in a 20-year-old murder case, was arrested here after he jumped bail last August, police said today.
Jitender was apprehended near Laxmi Nagar metro station yesterday on a tip off. He had jumped bail and was absconding since August 30 last year.
He was arrested in connection with the murder of a person, Surender, in July 1993. Jitender along with five others were convicted in 2002 but went on appeal and got bail.
During trial, Jitender did not appear in the court and was absconding since 30-08-2012. Accused Jitender alias Vikky was declared a proclaimed offender.
