ABVP activists stage road blockade

ABVP activists today staged road blockade at Mango bridge here disrupting road traffic for over an hour demanding formation of an education policy and enactment of a law to maintain uniformity in schools as well as fixing school fees.
We strongly demand constitution of Jharkhand Advisory Council on the line of existing National Advisory Council to look into these issues including finalizing an uniform curriculum, Amitabh Senapti, National executive council member of ABVP said.
He all the private school managements were functioning in a whimsical manner.
The road traffic between the steel city and Mango came to a standstill following the blockade, which last for one hour.

When contacted in this regard, Superintendent of Police (city) Chandan Kumar Jha said the blockade lasted for one hour.
