ACB raids sub-registrar office in Kadapa

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided a sub-registrar office located near here and seized nearly Rs 2 lakh in unaccounted cash, an official said today.
The sub-registrar office at Pullampeta, about 80km from here, was found to have Rs 1,91,250 in cash, which is more than the amount which they have to collect officially, Deputy Superintendent of Police (ACB) Ramadevi said.
The raid was carried out last evening after getting complaints from the public, she said.
The extra amount and all records in the office have been seized, the officer said.
