Action will be taken against those hampering Dev work: DGP

The Jharkhand Police chief D K Pandey today warned that action will be taken against those forces which are trying to hamper development work in the state.
Pandey, who visited a remote village Kurmitola under Chandwa police station after Trutiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) set on fire equipments of a power grid last night, said hindrance in the path of development work will not be tolerated and the culprits would not be spared.
The disturbance and criminal activities in the region was not acceptable, the DGP said and directed the police officials to crush those forces to inculcate confidence among the people.
Pandey also interacted with the employees and labourers present at the time the TPC activists torched the equipements.
The DGP assured that the police would provide full security to them to ensure rapid development of the area.
DIG R K Dhan and Superintendent of Police, Dhananjay Singh were also present on the occasion.
