Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine says he had a change of heart about marriage after meeting fiancee Behati Prinsloo.
The rocker, 35, got engaged to the Victoria's Secret model, 24, this July and though they are yet to find a perfect day for their marriage, Levine told the Tonight Show host Jay Leno that he is looking forward to getting hitched, reported E! News.
"I still don't think you have to get married, unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."
'The Voice' coach said they are working on deciding a wedding date but for now they have been busy getting their Halloween attire ready.
"We're gonna do Eyes Wide Shut, the kind of creepy masquerade thing. It's gonna be really creepy," Levine said, referring to director Stanley Kubrick's movie, starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
The rocker also opened up about his worst date that happened when he was in his early 20s. Levine said he had a credit limit of something like USD 172 on his checking account but his date kept ordering things.
"...And she just kept ordering so many things. And I was sweating because I was thinking to myself, 'Man, if you go over my limit, it's not gonna go down.'"
Levine's date ordered a bottle of wine and returned it when she didn't like the taste. She also ordered "three desserts" and "nine espressos" during their romantic outing.
"I'm having the most terrible time because she's talking to me and I'm not listening. All I'm doing is thinking about my eventual demise. So then, of course, the check comes, and I think I might have gotten in by a few cents. So it was a terrible tip, and I'm sorry to the waiter," said the rocker.
