Afghan Prez calls up Modi

Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani today called up Prime Minister Narendra Modi during which they discussed steps to further enhance bilateral cooperation in different areas, including in political and economic fields.
"On 15 March 2016, President of Afghanistan Ghani made a telephone call to Prime Minister Modi.
"Both leaders discussed steps to further enhance bilateral cooperation in different areas, including in political and economic fields," a PMO release said.
"They also exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region," it added.
