Aggarwal and Dikshit, who have been at loggerheads on various issues in the last few years, shared dais with Dikshit at a function in Sundar Nageri area of North East Delhi and complimented her contribution to the city as chief minister.
At an interaction at DPCC in May, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had asked both Dikshit and Aggarwal to bury their hatchet and work unitedly to ensure fourth successive victory of the party in the assembly polls scheduled for November.
He was speaking after Dikshit inaugurated a new senior secondary school at Sudar nagri.
The DPCC chief also praised Dikshit for significantly improving educational infrastructure in the city.
In her address, Dikshit said education sector has witnessed unprecedented improvement in the last 14 years and all Delhiites are proud of performance of Delhi government schools in class X and XII CBSE exams.
Last week, Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel, quoting findings of a survey conducted by his party, had alleged a "massive fraud" in education department and claimed that often teachers are "forced" to keep on pushing students to next level due pressure from higher ups even though they are not eligible to be promoted.
"The educational infrastructure in Delhi is the best in the country. The government concentrated on opening of more and more schools catering to the increasing need of quality educational institutions," said Dikshit, adding her government opened two new schools in every month.
