AIADMK workers burn PM's effigy

About 30 activists, led by district leader, Arjunan, raised slogans against the Centre and Singh, at Coffee House junction and burned an effigy of the PM, police said.

The activists were later removed from there, they said.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister created a stir at the National Development Council meeting Chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today as she stormed out of the meet, upset over the ten-minute time limit set for her to complete her speech.
