Air Force officer killed

An Air Force officer Flight Lt Shrikanth has been killed under mysterious circumstances during a routine firing practice at Halwara Air Force station, 45 kms from here, police said today.
Air Force station authorities have ordered an enquiry into yesterday's incident.
Meanwhile Ludhiana (rural) SSP Ashish Chaudhry said :"It appears to be a case of suicide. The officer lost his life with the revolver which was provided to him for shooting practice."
