3 asphyxiated to death

Three workers were
asphyxiated to death while desilting an unused well at Annai Teresa Nagar today, police said.
The deceased had entered the well, which was not in use for a long time, to clean it when poisonous gas struck them.
The three died on the spot and the bodies were recovered, they said.
