AIR to broadcast 24-part series on cricket

All India Radio (AIR) will broadcast a 24-part series on cricket titled 'Stumped' that will discuss major stories, issues and controversies revolving around the sport.
The weekly programme, produced in association with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), will be aired on All India Radio's FM Rainbow network every Saturday from 31st October at 11.30 am, AIR said in a statement released here.
The opening episode of the series will feature icons like Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne.
It will also be broadcasted by the General Overseas Service of External Services Division of All India Radio every Saturday and details of the broadcast would be available on its Facebook page 'airworldservice', it said.
Live streaming of this programme on AIR's Mobile App can also serve the purpose to the cricket lovers.
'Stumped' is intended to be a weekly guide for international cricket followers and bring the listeners up-to-date with the major issues and stories in the cricketing world, the statement said.
The programme will be irreverent, energetic and humorous with a lively debate between 3 noted sports presenters - Charu Sharma on behalf of AIR, along with Alison Mitchell of BBC and Jim Maxwell of ABC, the statement added.
