Soussa takes over from Salia Gbane who will leave Airtel on April 30.
"As the new Managing Director, Anwar will be responsible for revamping Airtel Chad's commercial capabilities, whilst building a superior network that will continue offering Chadians a competitive customer value proposition," Airtel Africa's Chief Executive Officer, Christian de Faria said in a statement.
Soussa joins Airtel from MTN Cyprus where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the American College of Greece and a Master of Science degree in Marketing from Concordia University, Canada.
