The film, which released last Friday in competition with Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", has been doing well at the box office.
An elated Ajay today tweeted, "Every father is his child's Shivaay! I'm happy, families r enjoying my film. A child's hug, tears becoming smiles! What more can I ask for?!"
Besides Ajay, the action thriller also stars Polish actress Erika Kaar, Sayyeshaa Saigal and Abigail Eames.
According to trade analysts, the movie has earned Rs 56.96 crore at the domestic box-office.
