All eligible people to get pensions: AP deputy chief minister

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa said here today that all eligible people in the state would get a pension under the NTR Bharosa Scheme.
Speaking at the Tallarevu Janamabhoomi programme, he said, "There is no fear about pension and no place for any discouragement to pensioners. Every eligible person in the state will get pension under the NTR Bhorasa scheme," he said.
"Due to some technical snag, pension related work was delayed and work was started with mandal committees. The committee will identify eligible pensioners. After completing the process, pensions will be paid to all eligible persons," he said.
Every year Rs 5,342 crore will be spent for pensions in the state, Chinarajappa said adding that the central government provides Rs 342 crore out of Rs 5,342 crore.
Loan waiver to farmers would commence after November 15 he said, adding that several schemes would be launched to eliminate poverty from the state.
