Left parties have planned to organise a public rally at Parui in Birbhum district to protest the Makhra village clash that left three persons dead.
"We will have a meeting there and it will held within Parui police station," CPI(M) state secretary and Left Front Chairman Biman Bose said today, adding that the time will be decided soon.
He said a country-wide agitation will be organised between December 8 and 14 as decided on November 1 by 6 of the Left Front and Left-minded political parties.
The agitation will be carried out against issues like spurt in medicine price, insurance and black money recovery among others.
On suspension of work in Industrial units of Manaksia and Khaitan Electrical, Bose slammed the TMC led government for "worsening industrial environment where series of companies are closing down due to politically supported extortion."
On proposed industry meet Bengal Lead, Bose said the state government was spending huge money in wooing investors, without any result.
