All industrial clearances to be routed through HEPC: CM

All applications pertaining to industrial clearances will be routed through Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre, the state government said today.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has directed the departments concerned to route all applications pertaining to industrial clearances through Haryana Enterprises Promotion Centre (HEPC) and depute full time nodal officers in the Centre for ensuring time bound clearances under one roof, a release said.
Khattar was presiding over a meeting to review the functioning of HEPC here today.
Khattar had inaugurated the HEPC in Panchkula on February 2 this year for the benefit of new units or units under expansion, by way of providing them all clearances under single roof, an official spokesman said.
The chief minister directed that from today onwards no department concerned would receive applications pertaining to industrial clearances on their respective portals and make sure that these are routed directly to HEPC.
At present, 12 different departments are working in cohesion under one roof to provide various services.
These included labour, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, Town and Country Planning, Urban Local Bodies, Industry, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), Uttar Haryana Bilji Vitran Nigam (UHBVN), Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), Public Health Engineering, Forest, Revenue and Excise and Taxation.
Khattar said that though at present industrial clearances were being issued within maximum period of 45 days, yet efforts should be made to provide early clearances to the applicants.
The meeting was informed that 802 applications have so far been received at the HEPC with investment potential of Rs 47,571 crore and employment opportunities to 2,02,383 people.
It was also informed that 66 approvals such as consent to establish, operate, Change of Land Use, Building Plan Approval, permanent power connection, factory plan are given under one roof.
Apart from this, 30 more industrial services would be integrated soon with this system.
