All states will soon be united against communal politics: Mamata

Accusing the Narendra Modi government of fuelling "communal politics" in the country, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Baerjee today said all states would soon be united to fight against "politics of division".
"No question of succumbing to the pressure of communal politics or politics of division. All states in the country will be united to fight against this in future," Banerjee said here, inaugurating a 4.4-km-long four-lane flyover at Garden Reach area here.
"'Acchhe din' is gone and the bad days have already begun. There is no place of communal politics or politics of division. This cannot continue. Please have faith on us." the chief minister said.

She also slammed the central government for its threat to non-BJP state governments in the country. "You cannot scare me, I know how to counter your threat," the chief minister asserted.
Inaugurating the flyover connecting the Brooklyn junction in the Garden Reach Port area with Majher Hat station, Banerjee said her government was committed to making the metropolis free from traffic snarl within two years.
