Ambedkar Sena Punjab merges with Bahujan Samaj Party

Dalit party Ambedkar Sena Punjab (ASP) today merged with Bahujan Samaj Party which is spearheaded by Mayawati.
ASP state President Surinder Dhanda said he has dissolved ASP and to join BSP along with his supporters.
Punjab BSP President Avtar Singh Karimpuri inducted Dhanda and his associates formally into BSP.
Karimpuri said that people of Punjab were looking up to BSP as an alternative to the ruling SAD-BJP alliance.
Karimpuri urged other Dalit parties named after 'Bahujan Samaj' icons to join BSP to further strengthen the party.
