Amitabh and his actress-politician wife Jaya attended the film's screening last evening here. The 72-year-old actor took to Twitter to praise the Shonali Bose-helmed movie.
"A screening of 'Margarita with a Straw' .. Sensitive well performed and brave original film ... Shunali Bose, :)," he tweeted.
The star couple, who were in the capital for Amitabh's Padma Vibhushan, have extended their stay here for niece Naina and actor Kunal Kapoor's wedding reception, which will take place today.
