People woke up to a foggy morning with a slight chill in the air, and the mist remained even as the day progressed.
The maximum temperature dropped two degrees below normal to 27.2 deg C while minimum was a notch above the normal at 15.9 deg C, the MeT department said.
Humidity level oscillated between 55 per cent and 96 per cent.
The Weather office has forecast misty morning till forenoon. Haze or mist could keep the city under its wrap in the later part of the day till night.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 27 and 16 deg C.
A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect western Himalayas on November 5 and 6, the MeT said. It has forecast shallow fog at the IGI airport with visibility dropping to below 500 m.
