Another sultry day for Delhi

It was hot and humid in the national capital today as rains eluded the city.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 33.8 degree Celsius which was three notches below normal for this part of the year and 1.2 degrees below yesterday's 35 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled at 27.9 degree Celsius which was normal, the weather department said, adding that no rainfall was recorded.
The maximum humidity was recorded at 89 per cent while the minimum was 74 per cent.
The MeT office predicted generally cloudy sky with a possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in some parts of Delhi tomorrow.
It said tomorrow the maximum and minimum temperature are expected to be around 33 and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
