Deputy superintendent of police D Mohan Rao said there were no signs of sexual assault.
"There were some fractures on the head and also burns on the hand. We did not find indications of sexual assault on the body," Rao said.
The body had been sent for autopsy and the cause of death was yet to be ascertained.
