Heat wave continues in Rajasthan; Bundi hottest at 43 deg C

Rajasthan experienced a mild drop in temperatures today even as Jalore and Bundi were the hottest places with the maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius each, a MeT official said here.
Elsewhere in the state, mercury dipped by one to three degrees Celsius this afternoon. At most places including western regions of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Churu, the maximum temperature varied between 40 and 42.6 degrees Celsius.
Jaipur also experienced a decline in maximum temperature by a few notches from 41.8 to 40.6 degrees Celsius.
Weather would remain dry in the state, and mercury would not jump up or fluctuate too much in the next 24 hours, a forecast said.
