AP Athletes display 'Telangana' name on jerseys

Athletes representing a team from Andhra Pradesh, taking part at the ongoing 35th National Masters Athletic Championship here, were seen sporting 'Telangana' jerseys during the event.
The team has 130 participants, including 32 women, and has already won a medal yesterday.
Though organising committees sources claimed the team is participating under the Telangana Masters Athletics Association banner, officials said the team will be considered from Andhra Pradesh and points would be given to that state only, since Telangana State was yet to be officially declared.
