AP CM's net assets valued at Rs 42.4 lakh at last fiscal: Son

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's net assets stood at Rs 42.4 lakh as on March 31 this year, his son N Lokesh said today.
Declaring the family assets, Lokesh said they collectively hold about Rs 46 crore worth of net assets in various forms as on March 31, 2015.
He, however, did not answer the query on the income that the family members have received from the assets.
The Chief Minister had last year declared his personal assets valued at Rs 70.69 lakh.
The drop in Naidu's assets is because of his bank balance that was reduced by about Rs 20 lakh in this period, Lokesh explained.

Naidu's wife Bhuvaneswari's assets were pegged at Rs 33.07 crore on March 31, 2015, as against Rs 46.88 crore on the corresponding day of last year.
Lokesh's assets stood at Rs 7.67 crore, while his wife Brahmini's assets were valued at Rs 4.77 crore, at the end of the last fiscal.
"We want every politician in the country to declare his or her assets and be transparent," Lokesh said.
